Hotspots/pain points/viewpoints are connected, and the context of the IOT events is under control
Recently, many media have mentioned that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has agreed that WAPI technology can be used in both 2G and 3G mobile phones in the future, but it has not indicated that WiFi technology is available, and claims that this means that China’s free wireless LAN technology standards are currently in advantage in China. . Previously, when many media mentioned the dispute between WAPI and WiFi, they believed that "WAPI is a wireless local area network security technical standard independently developed by my country with independent intellectual property rights. It and the internationally recognized WiFi protocol are two different protocols based on wireless local area networks. The Wi-Fi function of many domestic electronic products has been cancelled because the Wi-Fi protocol is not recognized by our country." But this statement is not recognized by many people in the communications industry.
A person in the communications industry who did not want to be named said: "The so-called WAPI standard by many media is wrong. WAPI only changes the security mechanism in WiFi. No matter what the banner of WAPI is, it is just a big WiFi. One of its security mechanisms cannot be compared with WiFi. Not only does WAPI and WiFi have no direct conflict, but without WiFi, where can WAPI be used? If the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology agrees to WAPI, it agrees to WiFi. Why is it so obscure?"
However, another person in the communications industry expressed different opinions. He believed that "WAPI is the same as WiFi, except that everyone has made access protocols based on different mechanisms. It is just that China has developed itself in order to bypass technical barriers. Technology. But a lot of core patents are still in the hands of others, but it is better than nothing, better than fully using others, at least they have their own say."
